About Us

Service Garage was started over 40 years in a small lockup in Ravensthorpe. In 1990 they purchased a much larger premise in Dewsbury.

The current owner Ian Whittaker started with them as a young mechanic at 16 years of age and in 2002 purchased the company from R A Hall.

It has a MOT bay to cater for class IV with 3 further bays to accommodate all vehicles upto 3.5tons and have 2 fully trained MOT testers.

As vehicles have become more electronic than mechanical we updated all the tuning equipment.

We can work with 99% of vehicles on the road. (Please see diagnostics page)

All our work is guaranteed and we have a courtesy car and van for those that need them.

Security of your vehicle is one of our primary concerns; our unit has 7-foot tall high security fencing a Red Care alarm.
